Our Philosophy and Goal
During the early years, children need a stimulating environment to aid them in developing to their fullest potential. Our goal is to provide experiences and activities which will encourage creativity and independence while enhancing spiritual, emotional, social, academic (cognitive), and physical development.
To achieve this goal, we provide the following class offerings:
Four year old classes (3-4 days)
For children age 4 by September 1 of the school year.
The main emphasis of this class is on Kindergarten readiness in the areas of pre-reading, math, science, language skills and handwriting. Children will be encouraged to develop independence and listening skills. Daily Jesus Time familiarizes the children with Bible stories.
This class meets Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for the first semester. Beginning in mid-January, Friday classes are added to ease the transition to all day, every day Kindergarten. Class times are 9:00 to 11:30 or 12:30 to 3:00.
Three year old classes (2 days)
For children age 3 by September 1 of the school year.
Children in this class will learn to share, play with others, listen to others during group time, and follow routines. Children will strengthen small and large muscles through hands-on activities. Daily Jesus Time will introduce Jesus to the children.
This class meets Tuesday and Thursday. Class times are 9:00 to 11:30 or 12:30 to 3:00.
